At EMA and Life Survival Training we have over 50 years of expertise in Survival and Remote area First Aid practice and training.

Our Head instructors Russell and Terry have a long history of working in and instructing Emergency, Rescue and remote area pre-hospital care that includes Marine, fire and military. 

Our course uses realistic moulage and scenarios developed specially for your needs. The courses will give you the knowledge and practical experience needed to assist when medical aid is delayed and includes knowledge of aeromedical evacuation. 

Our Remote course includes;

HLTAID015 Provide First Aid in a Remote Situation

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

HLTAID010 Provide basic life support

HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

 

Remote and isolated work includes:

  • all-night convenience store and service station attendants

  • sales representatives, including real estate agents

  • long distance freight transport drivers

  • park rangers and others carrying out field work alone

  • sheep and cattle stations.

  • Outdoor sporting groups hikers, runners, adventurers

  • Caravan and camping clubs

  • Ocean sailors
